3x World Motocross Champion – Courtney Duncan has progressed in to a list of Finalists gunning to be awarded the prestigious Hight Performance Sport New Zealand Sportswoman of the Year Halberg Award

Courtney keeps fine company in this category with Sarah Hirini [Olympic Gold Black Ferns Sevens Captain]; Lisa Carrington [Olympic Gold Canoe]; Emma Twigg [Olympic Gold Rowing]; Lydia Ko [Olympic Bronze & Championship Golfer]

For the sport of Motorcycling to be recognised in this way, through Courtney’s amazing results over several years is a proud moment for Motorcycling New Zealand and our Sport in general – The recognition is well deserved for Courtney and we wish her all the very best of luck’

The Halberg Awards will be held on Wednesday 23^rd February and will be screened live on SKY Sport and Prime from 8pm
