Join our team as a Volunteer Commissioner

Are you passionate about our sport and want to make a real difference?  We are looking for dedicated Volunteer Commissioners to support and grow the discipline you have a keen interest in.  This is your chance to play a key role in shaping the future of our events and supporting riders across the country.

Available Roles & Terms

  • ATV Commissioner – 2 year term
  • Cross Country Commissioner – 2 year term
  • Enduro Commissioner – 1 year term
  • Motocross Commissioner – 2 year term
  • Trial Commissioner – 1 year term
  • Women’s Commissioner – 2 year term

 Here is some of what you will do:

  • Foster strong relationships between riders, clubs and event organisers
  • Assist with adapting and improving the rules of the sport
  • Work with fellow commissioners to create a coordinated calendar of events
  • Approve permit applications, entry forms, and supplementary regulations
  • Allocate and assist with the organisation of Championship, National and Island Championships
  • Attend Board & Commissioner meetings to provide insight and support the sport at a governance role

While it is a significant role, you can surround yourself with commissioners you select to share the work.   You will also be supported by the administration team at MNZ, ensuring you have operational assistance and backing as you carry out your responsibilities.

  • Current commissioners are welcome to reapply for their roles.
