Thank You, Volunteers

This week, we say, thank you! Thank you, to all the volunteers who keep the wheels of motorcycle sport turning. We see you, we appreciate you, and we could not be here without you. Let’s celebrate all our volunteers this National Volunteer Week.

Most people see the bikes on the track. They don’t always see the club volunteers setting up before sunrise, the flag marshal standing in the rain, the steward making the tough calls, the clerk of the course coordinating the day, or the many people working behind the scenes who make every single motorcycle event possible. They don’t always see the board members, commissioners, officials and volunteers who dedicate countless hours to keeping our sport moving.

Motorcycling runs on volunteers. Our riders get to enjoy the sport they love because volunteers give their time, expertise, and energy week after week.

During National Volunteer Week, we want to thank every volunteer who gives their time, skills, and passion to our sport. Your contribution keeps our sport moving forward and helps create opportunities for riders at every level.

We are proud to share the first video in a new series, showcasing some of the incredible volunteers who not only make our sport happen, but also add colour and passion to motorcycle sport throughout New Zealand.

The sport runs because of you. Thank you, from all of us.
