COVID-19 Memorandum

21 January 2022 | All News

21 January 2022

Motorcycling New Zealand feel it is timely to remind all associated Clubs, Competitors, Officials and Volunteers, that they are bound by all MNZ rules and regulations.

This includes the requirement by New Zealand law, for all attendees in all capacities to present a legitimate COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (CVC)  in order to host or access MNZ permitted National and Championship Events.

There are serious consequences for anyone found using a false, fake or illegitimate CVC. Persons doing so may face prosecution from the New Zealand Government. Motorcycling New Zealand affiliated clubs and licence holders may also face sanctions from MNZ if found to be breaching those requirements.

MNZ do understand that the requirement to obtain and present a valid CVC is disappointing for some people, however, this is not currently negotiable. To allow our Motorcycle events to take place MNZ are required to comply with the Government’s and other Advisory Bodies rules and current guidelines around COVID-19 to enable our sport to continue running

Kind Regards
Mike Kerrisk – General Manager MNZ
