FIM PRESIDENT VISITS MOTORCYCLING NEW ZEALAND

It was great to host FIM President Jorge Viegas, Oceania President Peter Doyle at Motorcycling NZ head office on Wednesday 18 October, alongside MNZ President Mac McLeod and MNZ South Island Board Member and Oceania Board Member, Rod Price.

Jorge shared news from the FIM and what projects they are undertaking to ensure the safety and sustainability of motorcycling across the globe.  There are some exciting new developments in touring which we will be able to capitalise on and we shared the work we are doing to advance the sport here in New Zealand which led to a discussion on how the FIM can support us as a small FMN.
