Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) are pleased to announce an opportunity to undergo a Track Inspector Course and Seminar, to become a qualified track inspector for MNZ, we are drawing on the experience of Motorcycling Australia to assist us with the Seminar with the support from the FIM.  We are seeking individuals who possess a strong background in specific fields and are passionate about ensuring the safety and quality of tracks across New Zealand.   Whilst this is a volunteer role, all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed (not limited to but including: travel, accommodation, training and development, uniforms and equipment).

It would be preferable that applicants have a professional qualification or background in one of the following areas:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • General Engineering
  • Mathematics


If you do not hold one of the above but have a comprehensive understanding of track design principles and infrastructure along with experience in risk assessment and management your application will be considered.

While experience as an official maybe beneficial, it is not mandatory.  The primary requirement is a tertiary qualification (university or education qualification).
