Press Release Date: 24 September 2025 New Members Appointed to MNZ Women’s Commission

Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) is pleased to announce the appointment of new members to the MNZ Women’s Commission, a group dedicated to advancing opportunities, visibility, and support for women and girls in motorcycling across all disciplines.

“With new members, we will focus on several key initiatives such as bootcamps to build skills and confidence, programs to increase participation of girls and women across all motorcycling disciplines and exploring ways to expand the availability of women’s riding gear in New Zealand,” says Commissioner Rebecca Murray.

“The Commission is also planning to deliver online workshops and tutorials to address barriers to participation in motorcycle sports for women.

“With our new team in place, we are building a stronger, more inclusive motorcycling community,” says Murray.
