Motorcycling New Zealand Announce Policy on Concussion

28 June 2022 | All News

Motorcycling New Zealand are pleased to announce they have included a Concussion Policy to their library of information around Health and Safety.

MNZ take rider safety and well-being very seriously and support the on-going time and resources that are being dedicated to head-injury and the subsequent impact and effect such trauma can have on an individual in their every-day life.

The information collated within this policy has been supported by leading medical authorities. MNZ encourage members to read this document, expressing the need for our community to develop a level of understanding and awareness regarding head-trauma and effects, what to recognise and above all, if you suspect someone has concussion, they probably do, always act on the side of caution.

This information, and the Concussion Screening Form is now being sent out with all permits to the Steward for use at our events and for the medical service providers.
