Levi Townley Secures World Junior Motocross Championship (85cc)

In a remarkable triumph for New Zealand sports, Levi Townley has clinched the World Junior 85cc Motocross Championship.   This monumental achievement marks a significant milestone not only for Levi but also for the sporting heritage of our nation.

The event held at Heerde in the Netherlands, drew top athletes from across the globe. Competing fiercely against top contenders Levi displayed unparalleled skill, determine and perseverance through trying conditions, which seen the opening ceremony delayed by a day due to the weather.  Levi’s journey to his victory has captivated the hearts of New Zealanders, showcasing his exceptional talent and commitment.

The win is particularly poignant as Levi follows in the illustrious footsteps of his father, Ben Townley, a revered figure in Motocross history known for his own achievements on the international stage.   Levi’s achievement is set to leave a lasting impact on the International sporting community.
