The team manager for FIM Oceania will be Australia’s two-time World Supersport champion and now Yamaha World Superbike crew chief, Andrew Pitt.
The 48 competitors – from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, South Africa, Thailand and AMERICA – will compete on identical Yamaha YZF-R3 (Supersport 300) and Yamaha YZF-R7 (Supersport) machines over four races – two per class – to determine which of the six FIM Continental Unions will be the first to win the Games.
