Motorcycling New Zealand have announced the five rider team selected to represent New Zealand at the 2025 FIM Oceania Women’s Motocross Cup in Wonthaggi, Australia 22-23 March.
The Team of Karaitiana Horne, Amie Roberts, Olivia Bodle, Mikayla Griffiths and Milla Dahlenberg represent a talented group of riders keen to challenge teams from Australia, Africa and America for the title during the two day event. We couldn’t be prouder to take this team of amazing Women to Australia to represent New Zealand.
These women are a combination of experienced and up-coming talent, the riders are extremely dedicated and are a fantastic representation of the depth of riders coming through in the Women’s class. These riders will use the 2025 Yamaha NZ Motocross Championship series as their build up to this event.

This year Africa and America are sending teams, so we know the interest and competition is growing. The team is a blend of experience and youth, giving New Zealand women riders the opportunity to race internationally, gain experience and compete against some the world’s top riders. The team will be going all out to do New Zealand proud”
Karaitiana Horne consistently impresses, recently winning both the Junior and Senior Women’s and 8th in the 14-16yrs 250cc classes at the NZMXGP, at just 16yrs, Karaitiana is one poised to go far in the sport.
Amie Roberts returns to Motocross after an ACL injury and first time mum, to provide experience to the young team. Amie showed her skills and determination to return to the high performance sport, placing 3rd at the NZ Motocross Grand Prix in the Senior Women’s Class.
Olivia Bodle has had a great 2024 season in both Junior and Senior Women’s classes, having placed 8th at the New Zealand Junior Championships, rising to 1st overall at the Taupo 2024 Series it is exciting to include Olivia in the team.
Mikayla Griffiths has started the 2025 season where she left off in 2024, placing 2nd in the junior and senior women’s classes at the New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix
Milla Dahlenberg is one to watch with keen interest as she placed 5th overall at the New Zealand Motocross Grand Prix , her first Grand Prix in the senior women’s class.
