2026 New Zealand Motocross Championship dates announced

We are pleased to announce the official dates of the 2026 New Zealand Motocross Championship.  Get ready for fierce battles, and full throttle action from the country’s best riders.  The series heads South, bringing new tracks to the Championship.  It is also a great chance to grow the sport, reach new fans and give our South Island riders a proud moment on home soil.

Round 1    16 November 2025     – hosted by the Southland Motorcycle Club
Round 2     22 November 2025    – hosted by the South Otago Motorcycle Club
Round 3     21 February 2026      – hosted by the Tauranga Motorcycle Club
Round 4     28 February 2026      – hosted by the Rotorua Motorcycle Club

The 2026 Championship will bring renewed energy on the back of a successful 2025 series.

“We are looking forward to extending our 2026 Championship further after a successful 2025 series for all our riders and sponsors said Sarah Lindup, Motocross Sponsorship and Media Manager.

Motocross Commissioners, Stu McCulloch and Sonia Cloke said “A huge shoutout to our incredible sponsors, dedicated riders, amazing teams, host Clubs and all the volunteers for making the 2025 season such a success.  As we look forward to the 2026 season, we are excited to announce what is ahead.  We are looking forward to going to the South Island for two rounds and then back to the North for the final two rounds.
