Expression of Interest: Regional Official – Motorcycling New Zealand

Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) is seeking Expressions of Interest from MNZ officials who would like to take their role to the next level and who are passionate about motorcycling and committed to supporting the sport through leadership and collaboration at the regional level.
Regional Officials play a key role in supporting MNZ Affiliated Clubs and Officials within their designated region. This volunteer role is essential to maintaining high standards of officiating, promoting safety, and fostering cooperation across the motorcycling community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Standards and Training
Regional Officials, in conjunction with the Officials Commissioner, ensure that Officials within their region meet MNZ’s required standards and receive appropriate training to officiate motorcycle events confidently and competently. - Oversight of Events for Clubs and Officials
Regional Officials provide guidance and oversight to Affiliated Clubs and individual Officials, helping them adhere to MNZ rules and regulations and supporting the successful delivery of safe and fair events. - Representing Regional Interests
Regional Officials serve as a point of contact for their region, working alongside the MNZ Officials Helpline (0800 669 245 / 0800 MNZ BIKE) to address queries, concerns, and support needs from clubs and officials.

- Waikato
- Bay of Plenty
- Hawke’s Bay
- Otago
- Southland
