Dave Craig has been involved with motorcycling in New Zealand since 1990 and was made a Life Member of MNZ in 2015. He served on the MNZ Board in the role of South Island Off-Road representative for a number of years, was Motocross Commissioner for a time and, prior to that, the Junior Sport Commissioner.
His passion has always been motocross but more singularly focused on mini and junior motocross. He is a stalwart attendee of the MNZ Junior Motocross Championships and witnessed the excellence of Ben Townley, Josh Coppins and even Chad Reed before they went on to conquer the world.
Dave took pride in representing the mainland to ensure its ability to participate in all forms of the sport. He provided a respected voice at board level to support riders, officials and members.
