Social Media Policy
Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) supports and encourages the responsible use of social media to promote motorcycle sport and the activities of MNZ. At the same time, we aim to minimise the risk of online activity negatively impacting our sport, its participants, and stakeholders.
This policy sets out the framework for acceptable online behaviour when communicating with or about MNZ members, volunteers, officials, coaches, sponsors, partners, staff, and others connected to our sport. It outlines key principles, expected standards of conduct, use of intellectual property, official MNZ communications, consideration for others and the consequences of any breach of the policy.
A simplified Member Social Media Guide is also available to help members quickly understand the key expectations, while the full policy provides detailed guidance.
