2024 FIM Intercontinental Games – Expression of Interest Team FIM Oceania

FIM Oceania, via Motorcycling New Zealand, are providing riders the opportunity to place an Expression of Interest to be selected to represent FIM Oceania and compete at the FIM Intercontinental Games (ICG). This opportunity is open to both riders from Motorcycling New Zealand and Motorcycling Australia. Both female and male riders are required, plus 1 rider currently competing in the FIM World Championship is allowed within the eight (8) rider team to form – Team FIM Oceania.

The event is to be held at the Circuit de Jerez Spain, on the 30th November & 1 December 2024.   The six FIM Continental Unions from around the world will compete in teams of four, combining a total of eight riders, across the two categories;  Suepersport and Supersport 300.
The formation of the event has been a creation of the FIM where the objective is to create an opportunity for riders from different parts of the world to come together in the spirit of competition.  Following the initial running of the event, the event will be repeated biannually with the view to add more disciplines to the ICG, with off-road planned to join in 2026.

This exciting opportunity has several incentives selected riders will not pay costs for travel, accommodation, transport and meals, with Yamaha Motorcycles, tyres, fuel and pit box provided. All selected riders will be provided with their rider safety apparel and team Oceania uniform – paid by FIM & FIM Oceania. Please note there are Terms & Conditions for selection which are included in the FIM Oceania Expression of Interest application document.
All applicants must return their signed application to their Federation (MNZ) for New Zealand riders, for initial review, and/or approval by their Federation.
